I thought I would do this post as the London Marathon has just past and I’m sure many runners will feel tightness in many muscles after running 26miles.

The foam roller is a great piece of equipment that you can have at home and use where ever is convenient for you. Whether you are a runner or sat at a desk all day these exercises are so beneficial. I use the foam roller regularly to ease my back and shoulders and also to help with balance and pelvic stability. So please check out the short Youtube video to give you some ideas.

Foam roller exercises to stretch out hip flexors, lower and upper back and mobilise your shoulders

I do Pilates at home sessions and you can have exercises on the roller tailored to your needs and also time efficient. Feel free to get in touch if you want a program.

I hope you find this u tube video helpful. Any feedback most welcome xx
